9" tall by 8" tall Norther Catalpa hollow form.

Natural void in the log was the perfect opportunity to feature ways that "ugly" wood or "junk" wood can still produce beautiful artwork.

Catalpa is very lightweight, open-grained hardwood that has beautiful chatoyancy. This makes the wood light up when rotated in the light. It's eye catching and very pretty to see in person.

The bottom features my brand logo, wood species, series ID#, and year crafted.
